College Intern - State Government Affairs
Salt River Project (SRP) is a community-based, not-for-profit public power utility and the largest electricity provider in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. The student intern will be part of the State Government Affairs team, supporting legislative agenda development, researching policy concepts, and producing various communications documents.

Researching and analyzing legislative histories and public policy issues
Preparing reports, memos, presentations and other communications documents
Attending or watching internal and external stakeholder meetings
Monitoring news and social media activity
Qualification

Interest in Arizona State Government
Discretion and confidentiality
College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Candidates must live and work in Arizona
