Responsibilities
Utilize ArcPRO to draw line-work to be used by GIS Staff to populate data into the Department's GIS Layers
Review easement agreements and isolate the required geometry described by the agreement's verbiage
Utilize ArcPRO to construct polygon boundaries and populate attributes using information from engineering plans
Perform other work as required
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student
Minimum grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.8
Ability to participate in the full 10-week program
Exhibit a commitment to public service
Genuine interest in learning about public administration
Pre-employment drug testing required
FBI criminal background check required
Education/degree verification required
Basic knowledge of GIS & GPS technologies
Demonstrate an affinity for accuracy
Detail oriented
Good communications skills
Preferred
A major in GIS technologies, engineering related program, geography, environmental sciences or related field
