Responsibilities

Design scalable, resilient, and secure solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
Translate business and functional requirements into technical architectures and solution designs
Define reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for cloud-native applications
Lead architecture reviews and provide technical recommendations
Architect solutions using microservices, containers, serverless, and managed cloud services
Design integrations across systems, APIs, and third-party platforms
Ensure solutions meet performance, availability, security, and cost-optimization standards
Partner with infrastructure and platform teams on deployment strategies
Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering, product, sales, and customer teams
Support pre-sales and discovery conversations by shaping technical approaches
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and SRE teams to guide implementation
Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural maturity across the organization
Ensure solutions follow security-by-design and cloud best practices
Incorporate IAM, data protection, and compliance requirements into solution designs
Support audits, risk assessments, and governance initiatives when required
Produce clear architecture diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications
Present solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Clearly articulate trade-offs, risks, and recommendations

Required

7+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or solutions architecture
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture, networking, APIs, and distributed systems
Experience designing scalable, production-grade solutions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology environments
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Architect)
