Mid LevelJPS Tech Solutions is seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL, JCL, and DB2. The developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise mainframe applications while collaborating with various technical teams.

Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS
Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications
Perform coding, unit testing, and debugging on mainframe systems
Work on batch jobs, file processing, SQL queries, and performance enhancement
Support production issues, handle job failures, and provide timely resolutions
Collaborate with BA, QA, and other technical teams
Create technical documentation and follow SDLC processes
Qualification
Required
COBOL (strong hands-on experience)
JCL (Job Control Language)
DB2 / SQL
CICS
Experience with VSAM, TSO/ISPF
Good understanding of batch and online processing
Preferred
Experience with tools like ChangeMan, Abend-AID, File-AID
Experience in Agile environment
Knowledge of modernization or migration projects
Exposure to REXX or Easytrieve
