Responsibilities

Confirm MetroCluster configurations meet business continuity and zero-data-loss objectives

Regularly validate failover/failback processes to ensure readiness during real incidents

Establish monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks to detect and address risks before they impact availability

Recommend enhancements to site-to-site resiliency based on NetApp best practices

Fine-tune MetroCluster workloads to achieve balanced performance across mirrored sites

Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency without sacrificing resiliency

Serve as an on-site escalation point for storage-related issues, reducing recovery time during high-impact events

Coordinate with NetApp support and internal teams to accelerate resolution

Embed operational best practices directly into customer’s IT processes

Train and upskill staff to ensure sustained HA/DR readiness long after the residency ends
