Responsibilities

Maintain effective quality processes to prevent defects in materials, parts, and assemblies
Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and specifications
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual quality reports
Review quality data and drive corrective and preventive actions, including failure analysis
Conduct pre-production reviews for new products and create Control Plans
Maintain accurate records that demonstrate process control
Promote quality awareness internally and externally
Ensure written standards and procedures meet product safety and regulatory requirements
Analyze statistical data and product specs to ensure compliance with quality standards
Request engineering changes to address conditions affecting quality
Maintain and improve measuring and test equipment systems and calibration
Implement Lean concepts to reduce waste and improve processes
Apply analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making tools to drive results
Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, customer service, and management
Coordinate quality-related training with internal training teams
Review and improve quality procedures in Welding, Finishing, and Assembly
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure consistent quality of parts and materials
Oversee inspection and approval of tooling, jigs, and fixtures
Manage product release processes

Required

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
Level I: 3-5+ years of Quality Engineering experience in assembly industries, preferably as Quality Manager
Level II: 5–10 years of Quality Engineering experience in assembly industries, preferably as Quality Manager
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
Control Plans, SPC, Poka-Yoke, COPQ, and problem-solving tools
Data analysis and root cause analysis
Internal calibration and measurement system analysis
GD&T and ISO 9001/QMS procedure development
Coaching and supplier quality (incoming inspection, containment, audits)
CTQ/CTP, process controls, process validation, layered and process audits
Document control, APQP, COC, and PPAP
Ability to manage multiple projects and build cross-functional relationships
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
High ethical standards and alignment with company values

Preferred

Proficiency in MS Office; SAP, Minitab, and welding/powder-paint experience are a plus
Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred)
