Responsibilities
Understand project schedules and budgets and work efficiently within project guidelines
Possess a basic understanding of principles, practices of civil engineering, approval, and permitting process for civil projects
Experience with drafting boundary and topographic surveys, pipe networks, parcels, and subdivisions
Working knowledge/experience using Civil 3D and proficiency with MS Office Suite
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers drafting experience is a plus
Works in conjunction with an engineer on the preliminary design of the site, grading, water/wastewater layout, and storm sewer layout
Assists in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for subdivisions, commercial developments, multifamily developments, and public works projects
Performs plan drafting using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
Qualification
Required
