Junior Employment Law Attorney (plaintiff side)
DRV Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented junior Employment Litigation Associate to join the dynamic legal team of their prestigious growing plaintiff employment law firm client. The role involves managing all phases of employment litigation, conducting legal research, and collaborating with clients on diverse employment-related disputes.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations
Develop case strategies through thorough investigation, analysis of evidence, and legal analysis
Prepare for and participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
Draft legal documents with precision, including briefs, memoranda, and settlement agreements
Collaborate with clients to gather pertinent information and provide updates on case progress
Negotiate settlements effectively while maintaining the firm’s best interests
Stay current on developments in employment law, labor regulations, and relevant statutes affecting clients
Maintain meticulous case files and ensure all deadlines are met in accordance with court rules
Qualification
Required
Highly motivated and detail-oriented
1-2 years of experience as a junior attorney
Strong litigation skills
Comprehensive understanding of employment law
Ability to handle complex cases from inception through resolution
Manage all phases of employment litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conduct legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations
