Responsibilities
Define what to build, for whom, and in what order (ICP-driven)
Maintain a roadmap driven by customer value, retention impact, and differentiation
Own workflow/module lifecycle decisions: improve, expand, or deprecate
Design end-to-end workflows and user journeys (prototype-first mindset)
Translate workflows into clear product specs engineers can execute
Obsess over details: connectivity and consistency across the product
Track emerging AI product patterns and translate them into practical legal workflows
Partner with engineering and AI teams to define feasibility and sequencing
Balance power with predictability, safety, and user trust
Define and track core product metrics (activation, adoption, retention, workflow success)
Ensure instrumentation and dashboards exist and are trusted
Run tight loops: customer signal → build → ship → measure → iterate
Equip GTM with clear product narratives (what it does, who it’s for, why it matters)
Coordinate with enablement/education so launches are adoptable, not confusing
Feed objections and friction back into the roadmap
Qualification
Required
Legal-domain experience (one of the below):
Practicing attorney, paralegal, legal ops, KM, in-house/legal department experience
3+ years building/selling/implementing legaltech with frequent direct exposure to attorneys and legal workflows
Hands-on workflow design capability (prototype fluency in tools like Figma/Lovable or equivalent)
Strong product judgment under ambiguity; ships without perfect inputs
Extremely high attention to detail and quality
Preferred
Remote-friendly (US preferred) or hybrid (if applicable)
Full-time preferred; structured contract-to-hire can be considered for exceptional candidates
