Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end accounts payable processes, including reviewing and processing complex vendor invoices and employee expense reports with proper authorization
Prepare and issue payments, such as checks and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, to ensure timely disbursement to vendors and employees
Accurately code and record cash receipts, including checks and electronic payments, into the general ledger
Maintain and update vendor master data within the accounting system to ensure accuracy and completeness
Set up, monitor, and reconcile purchase orders, while providing Budget Managers with detailed contract status updates and outstanding balance reports
Process and review credit card, travel, and invoice reports within Concur, reconciling data to the general ledger
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with organizational policies and financial regulations
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment preparation
Familiarity with accrual accounting principles and account coding
Proficiency in processing invoices and managing vendor relationships
Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems
Strong understanding of non-profit accounting practices, including familiarity with Financial Edge
Ability to handle cash receipts and reconcile transactions within a general ledger
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment processing
