The role involves working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate and error-free documentation in accordance with industry standards.

Responsibilities
Work directly with engineers, project managers, and other members of the Engineering Department to produce CADD drawings from specifications, source drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions. Including but not limited to 3D models, Junction boxes, Control Panels, Plan drawings, and other engineering documentation
Develop project documentation in accordance with MCSI, client, and industry drafting standards
Develop & Maintain Electrical & Instrumentation CAD Library
Work closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free
Develop foundation for design files
Adhere to department and company policies, processes, and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent and 1-5 years' experience in the preparation and delivery of complex drafts and designs for dimensional and abstract project data
Proficient with AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D
Experience with Autocad 2020 or later
Knowledge in drafting standards. Such as drawing scales, layers, dimensions, plotting
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Teams
Ability to read and write English, follow policies
Relevant trade school experience and/or an associate's degree in computer drafting
Preferred
Knowledgeable with NEC is a plus
Knowledge of electrical & instrument drawings and symbols is a plus
Experience with Cadworxs / Electroworx is a plus
