Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, is seeking interns to join their Maryland team for summer 2026. Interns will engage in invasive plant control, vegetation monitoring, and participate in various environmental departments while receiving in-house training.

Invasive plant control

Vegetation monitoring/transplanting

Erosion control

Stream enhancement/restoration and maintenance

Rotate through different departments including ecosystems management, environmental science, urban forestry, and environmental compliance

Participate in in-house training courses including plant identification, wetland delineation, and land navigation/orienteering

Apply herbicide under the supervision of a Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator

Required

At least one year of undergraduate studies in a related field is required

Applicants should be interested in and understand wetland and riparian ecology

May occasionally involve working long hours

Interns will be expected to apply herbicide under the supervision of a Maryland Certified Pesticide Applicator
