This role involves leading proactive media relations and external communications to highlight modernization and program performance, while working closely with senior leaders to deliver clear narratives in government-facing environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute media strategies aligned to national security, modernization, and federal mission priorities

Build relationships with national, defense, technology, and federal-policy media

Pitch and draft press releases, statements, op-eds, and briefing materials

Prepare senior leaders for interviews, congressional engagements, industry forums, and national events

Develop talking points, speeches, and briefing packs aligned to federal priorities

Support communications around contract wins, program milestones, and partnerships

Reinforce messaging around transparency, ethics, and responsible government investment

Support issues management, rapid response, and time-sensitive communications

Lead campaign communications for federal events, customer engagements, and industry forums

Monitor media trends, sentiment, and competitive activity across government, defense, cyber, and infrastructure

Report on media performance and recommend strategies to strengthen visibility and alignment
