Responsibilities
Works on multiple types of documentation: mechanical layouts, electrical schematics, functional descriptions of operations, quotations and contracts
Works with the E80 Technical Department to develop solutions that fit customer needs
Collaborates with other sales engineers and reviews work with senior team leads to ensure feasibility of solution and accuracy of documentation
Attends occasional meetings onsite to collect and share all necessary information and support the Account Manager in presenting the E80 proposal to the Customer
Analyze customer data and develop cost effective modifications and upgrades to the existing Systems
Develop existing System’s modifications to layouts using AutoCAD to illustrate the proposed solutions
Analyze technical information and use various sources of data to identify the appropriate solutions to be proposed to the Customer
Complete documentation for the internal order management process
Develop pricing to be used internally in evaluation of project profitability
Develop and discuss pricing scenarios with the sales team
Develop the bid package including material flows, functional descriptions, proposals, presentations and other material to effectively communicate the solution and investment to the client
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or closely related field)
2+ years of experience
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in electrical-mechanical or software development
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Proficiency with the following software packages: AutoCad 2004 or newer, Microsoft office
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Strong analytical and communication skills
