Digital Content & PR Coordinator (Part-Time)
South Shore Public Relations is a woman-owned integrated marketing and public relations firm located in Michigan City, Indiana. They are seeking a Digital Content and PR Coordinator to develop and implement content strategies across multiple platforms while working closely with the company's president and engaging with the community.
Responsibilities
Create engaging content for blogs, press releases, and social media channels
Design graphics and produced video content, including promotional reels
Manage our social media presence and engage with our online community
Represent our company at local community events when the president is unavailable
Assist with public relations initiatives and media outreach
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure consistent brand messaging
Have the ability to own projects and meet deadlines
Support additional communications projects as needed
Proofread copy as needed
Qualification
Required
College Seniors pursuing either a marketing, public relations, or communications degree may apply
Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or communications preferred (students working toward completion at senior level will also be considered)
Experience in content creation, social media management, or public relations
Excellent writing and communication skills
Proficiency with graphic design and video editing tools
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Professional demeanor and exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality
Reliable transportation to attend community events as needed
Experience with email marketing platforms is a plus
Must be willing to work on an Apple computer
