Rug Art International is a well-established company specializing in luxury rugs and carpets. They are seeking a Showroom Sales Associate to drive revenue growth by building and nurturing relationships with upscale resorts, hotels, and interior designers in the New York market.

Responsibilities

Client acquisition and relationship building

Identify and engage potential clients within luxury hotels, Interior Design Firms, and high-end hospitality groups in the New York market and beyond

Establish and grow long-lasting relationships with industry stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to clients

Actively participate in industry events, including trade shows, design showcases, and networking opportunities, to represent the RUG ART brand and cultivate relationships with industry professionals

Regularly meet with clients to fulfill sample requests, ensuring timely delivery, and installation oversight

Required

Proven experience in luxury sales to the trade, focusing on the hospitality and high-end design sectors

Strong network within New York's luxury hospitality and contract industries, particularly in hotel and high-end residential segments

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate RUG ART's brand values and benefits to sophisticated clients

Results-driven mindset, proven to meet or exceed sales targets in a commission-encouraged role

Knowledge of rugs, textiles, design trends, and familiarity with Interior Designers and Architects as clients is a must
