Hickman's Family Farms is seeking an Accounting Specialist to provide support for the three Accounting functions at Hickman's Egg Ranch: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Order Entry. The role requires extensive knowledge of accounting duties and involves handling special projects for management.

Responsibilities

Analyzes and processes accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

Code such items as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare and maintain financial reports and records

Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements

Work with other departments to verify and record transactions and resolve discrepancies

Help ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and procedures

Assist with audits and other financial projects as needed
