Responsibilities

Provide Technical Support/Assistance related to Aeronautic repair station; interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams, operations, quality, program management, suppliers and customers to resolve problems and implement solutions
Prepare, Write and Review, technical documentation
Perform operational, maintenance, or testing procedures for mechanical products, components, equipment or systems
Perform and Validate First Article Inspection involving Quality and Shop Managers for new capability Provide/Validate documentation to implement new capability to the company
Modify and upgrade existing test equipment and tools to improve the maintenance process
Provide input and guidance to designs and development of test equipment and tools
Perform product troubleshooting and lab testing
Verify tool design meets the requirements and expectations Manage the line stoppage related to engineering
Plan and Follow up action plan with Program Manager over performance and target
Ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects to achieve the company's strategic and financial goals
Demonstrate an understanding of internal processes and methods and tools
Ensures work complies with company policies and processes
Other duties may be as assigned
Mechanical Engineer L1: Will perform the above under close supervision of senior engineer
In addition to the above, they will develop their knowledge of product, technology, industry standards, processes, tools, method, workflow, and best practices on mechanical designs
Demonstrate skills for the design, test and documentation of hardware, based on established design requirements, standards and approach under mentorship
Adhere to the product maintenance process
Assist Senior Engineers in the designs and maintenance of test equipment
Assist on-site technician in solving technical problems
Support in creating and updating FAI documents
Technical review of new and updated publication of technical documents
Conduct testing on units and equipment and produce test reports

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution required
0-2 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR
Has basic skills in analytical or scientific method
Has basic knowledge in engineering concepts
Familiar with standard engineering tools
Perform basic mechanical analysis related to kinematics, tolerance stack-ups, strength / robustness and environmental impacts
