Law Practice
Responsibilities
Support our briefing and appellate practices with exceptional brief writing and oral advocacy
Take ownership of active litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through resolution
Craft and manage discovery plans (written discovery, ESI, third-party subpoenas)
Defend and take depositions of parties, experts, and key witnesses
Argue motions and discovery hearings independently
Prepare witnesses for hearings, depositions, and trial
Develop and execute litigation strategy consistent with client objectives, risk tolerance, and budget
Qualification
Required
Texas bar licensed
4+ years of commercial litigation experience
Ability to stay motivated and productive with little oversight
Practical, creative, and results-oriented
Preferred
Significant experience (5+ years) handling complex litigation matters in state and federal court and in arbitration
Experience in Big Law (or a sophisticated litigation or PI boutique)
