Executive Director
San Luis Obispo Master Chorale is a 501(c) non-profit corporation seeking an Executive Director. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, including financial management, fundraising, and community engagement, while working closely with the Music Director and the Board.

Responsibilities
Responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the SLO Master Chorale which each year produces three large-scale performances at the Performing Arts Center at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, CA
Tasks include communications, financial oversight, fundraising, grant writing/reporting, marketing, logistics, community engagement, record maintenance, and artistic administration
Working closely with the Music Director and the Board, the Executive serves as the administrative/community face of the organization
Work from home an average of approximately 10-20 hours per week (depending on the concert schedule)
Paid monthly throughout the year at a rate based on qualifications and experience, with periodic performance reviews
Qualification
Required
Executive management experience and proven leadership skills; experience in similar organizations is a plus
Exceptional organizational, financial management, project management, and verbal and written communication skills, including experience with digital media and business software
Strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to execute
Successful track record in fundraising
Passion for the role of the arts in the community
Demonstrated knowledge of compliance and best practices
Demonstrates integrity, positive energy, strong interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic. Collaborative and transparent when dealing with an Artistic Director, contractors and a Board of Directors
Willingness to work a few evenings and weekends for concerts/events
A bachelor's or higher degree or demonstrated skills and experience
