Head of Revenue Operations
Zapp Talent Strategies is partnering with a high-growth, private equity–backed B2B SaaS company to identify a Head of Revenue Operations. This senior leadership role is responsible for building and scaling the revenue operations function, ensuring operational excellence across the customer lifecycle and collaborating closely with Finance and Go-To-Market teams.
Responsibilities
Define and lead the company’s revenue operations strategy across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
Act as a strategic operating partner to Finance and GTM leadership
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing RevOps organization spanning Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, CS Ops, Systems, and Analytics
Own revenue forecasting, pipeline discipline, and performance reporting in close partnership with Finance
Ensure accurate visibility into bookings, ARR, renewals, expansions, churn, and net revenue retention
Deliver executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and insights to support leadership and board decision-making
Partner with Finance on annual planning, quota setting, capacity modeling, and incentive design
Own and evolve the Go-To-Market technology stack, including CRM, marketing automation, billing/finance, and customer success platforms
Ensure data integrity, scalability, security, and alignment across systems
Lead system implementations, integrations, enhancements, and vendor management
Establish governance, documentation standards, and change-management processes
Design, document, and continuously optimize end-to-end revenue workflows, including: Lead-to-Opportunity, Opportunity-to-Close, Order-to-Cash, Onboarding-to-Renewal and Expansion
Drive automation, consistency, and scalability while reducing friction for GTM teams
Ensure operational processes align with internal controls, audit readiness, and revenue recognition requirements
Partner with Finance and Sales leadership on sales compensation strategy and administration
Oversee commission calculations, reporting accuracy, and payout governance
Support SPIFFs, accelerators, and performance management frameworks
Partner with Customer Success to improve onboarding, adoption, renewals, and expansion motions
Leverage customer health data and analytics to identify churn risk and growth opportunities
Influence improvements in net revenue retention, churn reduction, and customer lifetime value
Serve as a trusted advisor to GTM leaders and executive stakeholders
Translate strategic objectives into scalable, executable operating models
Lead change initiatives as systems, processes, and organizational needs evolve
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Finance Operations, or related functions
Prior experience within a B2B SaaS environment, ideally supporting organizations at $50M–$100M+ ARR
Demonstrated success building and scaling RevOps capabilities in high-growth companies
Experience operating in close alignment with Finance leadership
Deep, hands-on expertise with Salesforce (required)
Strong working knowledge of marketing automation, billing/financial platforms, and customer success systems
Familiarity with CPQ, subscription management, commissions, and analytics tools
Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue mechanics, and systems integration
