Haul Truck Driver

Amrize is seeking a Haul Truck Driver to help construct projects across North America. The role involves operating heavy mobile equipment in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to safety and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Understand and comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) policies to assume that environmental, health and safety are the first priority of the business. Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist the department as needed to improve EHS performance and results
Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way, according to policies and procedures
Help clean under conveyors, etc
Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
Other duties as assigned
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
Must be willing to work holidays, weekends various shifts and overtime as directed
Demonstrated ability for positive contributions when working within teams
Must be willing to accept change and strive for improvement
Demonstrated ability to operate mobile equipment
Must possess basic computer skills
Possess communication skills
Teamsters 722 preferred
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
