Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement for freight, carrier services and logistics-related categories; define category strategies to reduce cost and risk
Negotiate contracts, rates, SLAs and service agreements with carriers, 3PLs and strategic suppliers to secure measurable savings and service improvements
Manage supplier lifecycle: evaluate, onboard, monitor performance (KPIs), and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement
Execute RFx and sourcing events, conduct total-cost-of-ownership and spend analysis to inform consolidation and sourcing decisions
Partner with operations, customs/brokerage and finance to ensure regulatory compliance, on-time delivery and cost control
Own procurement process improvements and systems adoption—implement and maintain P2P workflows, supplier data hygiene and procurement analytics
Qualification
Required
Proven procurement experience in freight, logistics or supply chain procurement with demonstrated savings and supplier success
Hands-on experience with procurement platforms or ERPs (examples: SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud)
Track record in contract negotiation, carrier rate negotiations and supplier performance management
Working knowledge of international trade terms, Incoterms and customs compliance impacting freight procurement
Preferred
Certification in procurement/supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CSCP) or freight-forwarding expertise
Experience with spend analytics, RFx tooling and dashboarding (Power BI/Tableau) to drive data-led sourcing decisions
