Senior LevelAllegheny Health Network is seeking a Research Fellow for a full-time temporary advanced scholarly appointment to conduct independent and directed research programs. The Research Fellow will oversee clinical research operations, manage laboratory activities, and contribute to scholarly output through grant writing and publication preparation.

Responsibilities
Oversee clinical research operations including database management, data collection, and regulatory compliance (IRB preparation, submission, and reporting)
Coordinate and manage laboratory activities, ensuring smooth execution of ongoing projects, task delegation, and workflow organization
Contribute to scholarly output by assisting with grant writing, proposal submissions, and manuscript preparation
Develop and implement experimental paradigms and tasks for active clinical research studies, including participant administration and data acquisition
Support long-term research strategy through project tracking, resource management, and cross-disciplinary collaboration
Conduct high fidelity experimentation in line with the objectives of the research program. (40%)
Collect and analyze data from the literature and from ongoing experimentation to support hypotheses. (25%)
Participate in writing research publications, presentations, and grant proposals. (20%)
Aid the investigator in managing research staff and maintaining research facilities on an as-needed basis. (10%)
Other duties as assigned, including representing the lead investigator at scientific conferences and meetings. (5%)
