They are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits.

Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Perform full-cycle general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliations, Month end/Year end closing
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries using accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite or similar platforms
Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow analysis, and forecasting activities
Support regulatory reporting and compliance efforts, including SOX and securities law requirements
Maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in double-entry bookkeeping
Contribute to financial report writing and interpretation for management review
Support audit processes through preparation of audit schedules and documentation
Mentor junior team members in technical accounting practices including non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, corporate finance, or private equity contexts
Manage Payroll Tax, Property Tax, and Business Income Tax preparation and filings, and other compliance-related tasks
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2-3 years Proven experience with corporate accounting practices including GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial statement preparation
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, and other ERP systems
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel required
Experience with SOX compliance and and regulatory reporting standards
Ability to interpret complex financial reports and perform detailed financial analysis
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within teams and across departments
Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) and meet deadlines
Fast learner with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Preferred
Experience in the agriculture industry and/or Import/export operations
Hands-on experience with business income tax preparation, payroll tax filings, and property tax filings
Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-location accounting environments
Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin)
CPA or equivalent certification
