Engage directly with clients while gaining hands-on experience
Learn how to identify symptoms, explore various treatment modalities, and develop essential assessment and diagnostic skills
Create person-centered service plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual
Qualification
Required
Current Master's degree student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Human Services
Understanding of the characteristics of substance use disorders, mental illness, and developmental and intellectual disabilities
Meticulous in maintaining confidentiality and security of Protected Health Information (PHI) while adhering to HIPAA regulations
Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with basic office equipment, including fax machines, scanners, copiers, and telephones
Strong communication skills
Person-centric approach to client interaction and support
Ability to engage directly with clients
Willingness to undergo a background check, including social services review, and drug screen
