This part-time internship will involve assisting with daily operations, marketing campaign execution, and sales support within the music and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily operations of Rukus Avenue Radio, including scheduling, programming coordination, and content organization
Help manage and archive radio shows, podcasts, audio files, and media assets
Support coordination for artist interviews, radio guests, and live or pre-recorded sessions
Assist with internal workflows, documentation, and process optimization
Support outreach efforts for sponsorships, brand partnerships, and advertising opportunities
Assist in preparing sales decks, media kits, proposals, and performance reports
Help track leads, partner communications, and campaign deliverables
Conduct research on potential partners, advertisers, and market opportunities
Support execution of marketing campaigns for radio shows, music releases, and special programming
Assist with social media scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking
Help analyze audience data, listener trends, and campaign results
Collaborate with the team on promotional strategies for radio content and digital initiatives
Conduct research on industry trends, media partnerships, and audience engagement strategies
Assist with live events, promotions, and special campaigns as needed
Collaborate cross-functionally with content, programming, and leadership teams
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Business, Entertainment Management, or a related field
Strong interest in radio, media operations, marketing, and the business of music
Passion for South Asian music, culture, and storytelling
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, Facebook)
Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team
Preferred
Experience with media sales, sponsorships, or brand partnerships
Knowledge of radio programming, podcasting, or audio platforms
Basic experience with CRM tools, spreadsheets, or analytics
Interest or experience in music marketing or entertainment business
