Responsibilities
Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
Responsible for AR postings, cash reporting, cash postings
Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
Oversees AP, approve payables, verify payments by checks, wires and ACHs
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
Inventory reconciliation and reporting
Manage and analyze financial statements, payroll, budget, tax & regulatory compliance
Knowledgeable in offshoring and automating processes
Qualification
Required
Experience with ERP, QBO, bill payment systems, Shopify, payroll platforms
CPG and / or Apparel experience
5-7+ years of accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA
Deep understanding of financial processes, workflows, and procedures monitoring
Strong understanding of accrual basis COGS and Inventory, wholesale and D2C revenue, and sales tax
Preferred
Specialty tax experience preferred
Familiarity working with debt / loans, convertible notes / SAFEs preferred
