Responsibilities
Define and own Angular application architecture , including module design, component hierarchy, routing strategies, and lazy loading
Design and implement shared libraries, UI frameworks, and reusable component systems
Establish state management architecture using RxJS, NgRx, or equivalent reactive patterns
Define standards for code structure, folder organization, linting, and build optimization
Drive performance optimization including change detection strategy, bundle optimization, tree shaking, and runtime profiling
Architect micro-frontend solutions using Module Federation or similar approaches when required
Ensure secure frontend design, including authentication, authorization, and role-based access control
Lead API integration architecture , handling REST/GraphQL services, error handling, caching, and retry strategies
Guide test strategy including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing
Collaborate with DevOps teams to design CI/CD pipelines for Angular applications
Review and approve complex pull requests, architectural changes, and technical designs
Qualification
Required
8+ years of frontend or full-stack development experience
5+ years of hands-on Angular (v10+) experience in production environments
Expert-level knowledge of TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and Angular CDK
Strong understanding of change detection, dependency injection, and Angular lifecycle hooks
Experience with state management frameworks (NgRx, Akita, NGXS)
Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles
Solid understanding of web security concepts (XSS, CSRF, CORS, OAuth, JWT)
Experience integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
Hands-on experience with Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and code review workflows
Ability to design scalable frontend architectures for high-traffic applications
Experience with micro-frontend architecture and domain-driven frontend design
Knowledge of monorepo strategies (Nx, Lerna)
Familiarity with build tools and bundlers such as Webpack, Vite, or esbuild
Experience handling cross-browser compatibility and accessibility (WCAG)
Preferred
Experience deploying Angular apps on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized frontend deployments
Experience configuring CDNs, caching strategies, and environment-based builds
