Responsibilities

Proactively source, screen, and initiate contact with qualified Nurse Practitioner candidates, facilitating a seamless hiring process
Lead and oversee all HR functions for our practice, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR policies and programs
Completes onboarding paperwork and process for all new hires such as background checks, onboard tracking and communications prior to start
Run Weekly Payroll
Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Implement performance management to enhance employee performance
Provide support to employees with any benefit-related questions or concerns. Assists all eligible employees in benefit enrolment
Additional projects and/or responsibilities as assigned
Completes and weekly new hire and termination reports
Completes requested reports from department managers
Process I-9s and E-Verify for new employees

Required

Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations a must
2 years of running US weekly Payroll
Extensive knowledge of all State regulations, and IRS reporting
Strong organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Capability of effective planning and priority setting
Experience leading employee engagement, performance management, and talent development programs
Ability to manage a diversified workforce
Ability to work in a growing environment as it relates to infrastructure, policies, and procedures
Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years HR experience
Prior medical experience required
Required 2 year(s) experience within an HR environment in a medical office. With experience in screening candidates (preferably Psychiatrist, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners)

Preferred

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification also preferred
MBA or Masters also preferred
