Blue Ventis is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Business Development to support within its Litigation Department. This strategic role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive business growth, enhance client relationships, and elevate the firm’s market presence.

Responsibilities

Partner with practice group leadership to develop and execute targeted business development and marketing strategies
Collaborate with partners, marketing, communications, and global business development teams to support strategic initiatives
Prepare, draft, and manage high-quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses
Identify cross-selling opportunities across practice areas and global offices
Track legal industry trends, competitive intelligence, and antitrust market developments
Develop and maintain marketing materials including website content, experience lists, practice descriptions, and presentations
Plan and execute client-facing events, seminars, webinars, and conferences
Manage sponsorships and strategic partnerships, ensuring strong ROI
Oversee submissions for industry awards and rankings
Work with communications teams on media relations and digital marketing efforts
Support process improvements and best practices within the business development department
Lead and mentor junior team members as required
Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Law, or related field (required)
10+ years of marketing or business development experience (required)
Experience supporting a Litigation practice —preferably Antitrust (required)
5+ years of management experience in a law firm environment (required)
Strong understanding of professional services and legal marketing strategies
Expertise in law firm operations and client relationship management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading ability
Strategic thinking with strong project management capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Solid understanding of litigation and antitrust legal concepts
