The Market Manager will oversee operations in San Francisco, focusing on financial and operational metrics, fleet management, and driver support while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities
Own all financial and operational metrics to ensure optimal revenue and profit maximization
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including driver scheduling, dispatch, and performance monitoring
Manage vehicle maintenance and repair programs to ensure optimal fleet utilization and safety
Partner with the Growth team to develop and execute strategies to recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing driver base
Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement in profitability and operational efficiency
Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize fleet profitability
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards achieving business goals
Provide ongoing support and training to drivers on industry best practices, safety regulations, and customer service
Foster a positive and supportive environment for all employees
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary corrective actions
Qualification
Required
2+ years of operations management, business consulting, or related experience managing operations, building and developing teams, optimizing processes, and delivering business goals
2+ years of people management experience, high EQ, and proven ability to deliver outstanding results through others in a timely manner using a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
Goal focus with a strong bias toward action
Entrepreneurial hustle and proven self-starter with owner's mentality; some entrepreneurial experience is preferred
Data-driven mindset, strong business judgment, and proven ability to perform analysis, draw key insights, and form and execute a strategy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, manage a team, influence stakeholders, and inspire others
Excellent organization and time management
Willingness to get your hands dirty, lead by example, and motivate teams both through in-person and remote management
BA/BS with an impressive academic record
Available full-time, on-site in San Francisco (in-office 5 days a week)
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus
Experience with ridesharing platforms (Uber, Lyft) is a strong plus
