This role is responsible for building business connections with Japanese clients in various sectors and supporting client relationship management and business development efforts.

Responsibilities
Build business connection with Japanese clients in energy, utilities, metal, trading sectors
Gather information relating to finance and business development with these clients above
Gather information on recent trends and activities of these sectors above
Support in preparation of client materials (presentations, proposals, etc.) and presentation
Maintain client relationship, cultivate clients’ banking needs and promote banking products
Provide ad hoc reports for management
Collaborate across departments such as sales, marketing and product development to ensure that the client's needs are being met
Complete all aspects of new transactions from origination, credit approval, documentation, and closing with senior member's support
Execute against business strategy for the team to up tier client, increase market penetration and maximize profitability
Deliver value-added financing solutions to existing and prospective to augment client relationships and obtain transaction mandates
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree or higher
3+ years of experience at a corporate/investment banking, project finance
supervisory experience
advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
the ability to speak, read and write Japanese
