Senior Commercial Counsel
Atlassian is seeking a talented and experienced lawyer to join their Commercial Legal team. In this role, you will negotiate enterprise cloud agreements and provide guidance on customer requests, while collaborating with internal business partners.

Responsibilities
Negotiate enterprise cloud agreements for Atlassian’s products and services. In doing so, you’ll partner with Sales and other Atlassians to drive customer deals to execution
Provide pragmatic, business-minded guidance on customer requests and contract-related issues. We’re not looking for academic analysis!
Develop support materials and provide trainings to educate our Sales teams on contract terms and other legal issues
Assist with special projects as needed, including projects focused on scaling legal processes
Qualification
Required
7+ years experience of SaaS agreement negotiation experience
Qualification to practice law in your local jurisdiction
Ability to handle data protection, cybersecurity, and revenue recognition issues in connection with commercial contracts
Experience developing and maintaining efficient processes for a busy commercial legal team
Passion for understanding our customers, products, culture, and business model
Excellent business judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly with a variety of teams
Willingness to handle new areas of responsibility
