Service Engineer

Gram Equipment is a global market-leading company in the ice cream industry, currently hiring Service Engineers in the US. In this position, you will service first-class ice cream equipment, executing installations, training users, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Execute installation and commissioning of new installations, service tacks as well as upgrades on existing installations on the customer site
Secure targeted and optimum execution of installation projects and service activities
Prepare weekly Installation/ Service reports during and after completion of installation and service tasks
Conduct technical user training for custumers’ maintenance crew
Support and work with the company’s Engineering/ Service department on development of new products
When needed – support back-office colleagues on technical questions/ cases
When needed – Participate in development of the company’s training programs
Effectively communicate with costumers, sales teams and partners to ensure that costumers needs and demands are understood and met – provide feedback to Field service management
Interface with customers to establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship as well as follow up with customers' concerns and problems

Required

Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours on the customer's site

Strong organizational skills and proactive approach
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to travel extensively (up to 200 days/year)
