Corporate Housing Specialist

CRS is a leader in our industry providing temporary housing solutions to individuals who are displaced from their home due to loss. This position is a primary point of contact for sourcing and securing corporate leases for housing claims, acting as the liaison between policyholders, insurance adjusters, and corporate housing vendors.

Responsibilities

Work with our contracted corporate housing vendors to source short-term housing options that meet the needs of the policyholder
Obtain adjuster approvals and ensure claim expenses are within policy limits
Speak with landlords and educate them on temporary housing services
Present located properties to the policyholders and customers for acceptance
Prioritize all working claims, to work each one daily
Occasionally act on behalf of the collections department to obtain abatement for a claim
Coordinate housing move-ins with multiple departments throughout the organization
Apply Creative Problem-Solving: Analyze unique challenges that arise during claim processes and housing arrangements to provide innovative solutions
Demonstrate Soft Skills: Exhibit empathy, patience, and a positive attitude in all policyholder interactions, promoting a positive customer experience
Ensure customer satisfaction by prompt and proper resolution of questions and issues
Manage high volume email, as well as inbound and outbound telephone calls for claim handling, while documenting activities related to the claim in the company’s computer system

Required

Intermediate competency in math
Ability to demonstrate compassion and handle sensitive information
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Typing speed 40 wpm or higher
Minimum of 2 years' Customer Service experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred

Experience with sales and negotiation tactics
