Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain or support scalable data pipelines and batch/streaming workflows to power analytics and AI/ML use cases
Develop and operationalize machine learning and GenAI solutions, including feature pipelines, model training, evaluation, and deployment into production
Implement and manage data and AI infrastructure (e.g., data lakes/warehouses, feature stores, model registries, vector stores, orchestration) following best practices for reliability and security
Partner with Business Teams to translate business problems into data and AI solutions with clear success metrics
Ensure data quality, lineage, observability, and governance across AI workloads, including monitoring for data drift and model performance degradation
Automate CI/CD and MLOps workflows for data pipelines and models, including testing, versioning, and rollout/rollback strategies
Optimize data and model performance and cost across cloud platforms and storage/compute layers
Contribute to standards, documentation, and best practices for data and AI engineering across the organization
Stay current with emerging data and AI technologies (LLMs, vector databases, orchestration tools, etc.) and recommend practical adoption paths
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent with 8+ years of practical experience
Strong experience with data engineering tools and concepts: SQL, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, batch and streaming data processing
Proficiency in Python (preferred) or similar languages for building data and ML/AI solutions
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or similar)
Experience building, deploying, and maintaining ML/AI solutions using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or cloud ML services
Preferred
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, CI/CD pipelines, containers)
Experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases
Background in statistics or ML (feature engineering, model evaluation, A/B testing)
Experience implementing data governance, security, and privacy controls for analytical and AI workloads
Exposure to domain-specific data (e.g., Supply Chain) and associated regulatory environments
