The Forklift Operator position is responsible for supporting various warehousing activities, primarily focusing on the delivery, storage, processing, and loading of inventory.

Responsibilities

Pull and pack orders

Help Will Call customers

Unload, receive, and put away stock when needed

Prepare orders to ship via 3rd party

Load trucks

Ensure inventory accuracy

Back-up the Wire Services department as needed

Qualification

Required

Sitdown Forklift experience required

Drivers License Required

Basic mathematics skills

Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy

Basic computer skills

Ability to understand direction, use logic to solve issues, and adapt well in a fast-paced environment

Must communicate professionally and effectively with others

Demonstrates safe working habits

The ability to stand, walk for moderately long distances, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, push/pull) weight up to 50lbs unassisted

The ability to climb a ladder

The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools

Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently

Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
