The Boeing Company is looking for a Procurement Agent Senior Manager to join their Primary Structures Asia team in Everett, WA. This role involves leading a team responsible for managing supplier contracts and developing procurement strategies for Boeing's airplane programs.

Responsibilities

Manages Procurement Agent employees and mid-level managers performing activities related to committing company resources to purchase goods and services, developing supplier strategies, development of bid packages, proposal analysis, and development of contracts

Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Provides oversight regarding negotiation strategies, processes and related tools

Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

Required

10+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager

10+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

10+ years of experience in managing or supporting large projects, working with many stakeholders, including stakeholders in different cultures

Domestic and international travel as needed

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree

10+ years of experience with organizing, planning, facilitating and executing customer logistics

Strong communicator at all levels

Experience with the application of lean principals and/or systems thinking

Demonstrated experience taking initiative, leading cross functional teams, working across organizational boundaries, and ensuring an inclusive environment
