Responsibilities
Independently performs time-sensitive case management for an assigned caseload
Engages in the determination of statutory and medical eligibility, payments, and various components of continuing qualifications for disability benefits
Consistently provides a high-level of on-going communication with disability members both verbally and in writing
Responsible for complete analysis of the disability application resulting in a thorough and accurate final written summary recommendation to management
Qualification
Required
Possess critical-thinking skills in analyzing complex information to effectively and efficiently arrive at reasonable conclusions
Experience interpreting laws or regulations
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Possess strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks within short time frames
Well-developed caseload management skills
Desire to provide excellent customer service
Proficient in computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Ability to work independently, and effectively as a team player
