Customer Service Representative, Combination Store

Norco, Inc. is currently seeking an individual to fill the Combination Store Customer Service Representative position. The role involves serving walk-in and phone-in customers, handling orders, and providing product knowledge to assist customers with their needs.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
Answer telephone calls promptly
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products, placement, availability, price and use
Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
Fit and sell medical products and services to customers
Process customer orders and accurately input customer orders into the computer
Handle cash sales accurately
Research and expedite customer back orders
Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
Answer billing and other customer questions or direct customer to proper billing personnel
Continue education on industry billing criteria as it relates to specific customer insurance requirements
Initiate and complete new patient referral information files and assist in setting up new accounts where applicable
Issue product sales quotes to customers
Track customer’s order in the computer and be able to interpret where order is in the delivery process
Load products into customer vehicle
Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules
Keep showroom stocked, clean, organized and presentable
Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Required

High school graduate or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal communication skills, especially over the telephone
Good typing and 10-key skills
Working knowledge of home medical products, placement, availability and pricing
Working knowledge of welding, gases and supplies
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs
Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge or any software applications necessary to the position
Detail oriented
Valid driver's license

Preferred

Medical homecare experience is a plus
