The role requires a strong understanding of lending practices and customer service to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and process loan applications for residential, commercial and business clients

Analyze creditworthiness, income documentation, collateral, and risk profiles

Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, real estate agents, brokers and other referral sources

Guide clients through the loan process, ensuring a clear understanding of loan terms, products and responsibilities

Work with processors selected by you from our partner processors

Stay up to date with market trends, lending regulations and compliance requirements

Manage and maintain a pipeline of active loans from application to closing

Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards

Identify opportunities for cross-selling financial products and services

Participate in community outreach and networking events to expand client base and increase brand visibility

Required

Licensed Residential Loan Officer, and/or a Commercial & Business Lending Advisor

Minimum [2–5] years of experience in residential, commercial and/or business lending

Strong knowledge of lending practices, financial analysis, and loan documentation

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills

Proficient in loan origination software and CRM systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

NMLS license (or ability to obtain, if required)

With no NMLS would have to work part-time in a team environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field
