Intuit is seeking a Data Science Intern to join their Identity Data Science & Analytics team, where the intern will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive data-backed decisions. Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional teams to drive data-backed decisions and actionable insights

Use a hypothesis-driven approach to drive design, implementation, and analysis of A/B experiments. Then provide executive level recommendations on next steps based on the test results and insights

Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences, both in writing and through oral presentations

Provide guidance and thought leadership to business leaders and stakeholders on how best to harness available data to support business goals

Ensure data collection and data processing is optimized to provide crystal-clear visibility into the impact and value of new initiatives and product releases

Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data anomalies, validate data accuracy, and drive issues to resolution

Required

Strong SQL skills and proficient in Tableau and/or Excel

Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking

Outstanding communications skills with the ability to influence decision makers and build consensus with teams

Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that can improve both customer and business outcomes

Strong organizational skills, time management, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines

Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related technical field

A graduation date at least 4 months after the end of the internship

Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the duration of the internship

Ability to work onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week

Preferred

Experience working with granular web and native clickstream data and behavior tracking tools like Adobe Analytics is a plus

Experience in programming languages, automation tools, and stats packages (e.g. Python, R, Hive) is a plus; comfortable creating re-usable data sets with high-quality data
