Responsibilities
Process daily payments (wire/ACH/check) and record entries
Issue invoices to customers and track receivables
Maintain ledgers, journals, and financial records
Prepare financial statements (BS, PL, CF)
Support month-end and year-end closing
Analyze financial data and discrepancies
Prepare consolidation package for HQ
Reconcile accounts and analyze variances
Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (e.g., 1099, estimated tax, sales/use tax)
Handle business license registrations and renewals in new states
File annual reports to states and municipalities
Work with internal teams to provide financial support
Participate in audits and provide documentation
Stay up to date with accounting regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–3+ years relevant experience in corporate or professional setting
Japanese/English bilingual (writing & speaking)
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Dynamics)
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
Clear communication with non-finance teams
Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Organized and discreet with sensitive information
