Employment Program Mgr. - Goodwill Community Cupboard
Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, Inc. is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Employment Program Manager specializing in Food Market initiatives. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating employment programs that support community engagement for a hybrid pay-what-can and retail food market, while ensuring compliance with food safety and organization standards.

Responsibilities
Supervise, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff
Provide leadership for the company's GREAT donor program: provide assistance to all donors
Will engage the local and regional communities in Brand Ambassadorship to encourage donations and community partnerships
Ensure ServSafe, OSHA Compliance, and all safety standards
Oversee freeze-drying operations, including production scheduling, quality control, and coordination with agricultural partners
Build and maintain partnerships with local farmers, nonprofits, agencies, schools and municipalities
Represent goodwill Feeds and Community Cupboards at community events, regional meetings, and stakeholder forums
Enforce financial accountability, daily deposit, cash register accuracy, and other account reporting
Maintain accurate records for audits, funding reports, and program evaluation
Prepare monthly reports summarizing operations, performance metrics, and budgets variance
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of supervisory experience required
ServSafe certification (or within 90 days)
Strong communication, organization, and operational management skills
Ability to lift 40lbs and stand for extended periods
Valid NC Driver's License
Preferred
Associate degree preferred
Bachelor's degree desirable
