Akkodis is seeking a PLM Systems Design Engineer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA/Austin, TX. This role drives the design and optimization of PLM solutions that support global supply chain and NPI processes.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and optimization of PLM solutions to support global supply chain, manufacturing, and NPI processes

Translate enterprise PLM data needs into scalable workflows and drive process improvements using Teamcenter

Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to align business requirements with PLM capabilities

Identify and develop high‑value PLM data use cases, build strong business cases, and support POCs to accelerate adoption

Analyze how PLM data is consumed across the enterprise and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency and data quality

Manage large‑scale global initiatives, ensuring alignment, communication, and successful delivery across multiple teams and stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field such as Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

5–7+ years of experience leading global supply chain and PLM process initiatives within the electronics or manufacturing industry

Strong hands‑on expertise with Teamcenter and deep proficiency in PLM data, integration technologies, and enterprise workflows

Proven experience driving large‑scale global PLM and NPI programs, including the ability to translate PLM data into business process improvements and facilitate cross‑functional alignment
