The AI Agent Engineer will design, build, and deploy AI agents for core platform functionality, working with Google ADK to enhance workflows across sales, service, and other dealership operations.

Responsibilities
Architect and implement AI agents using Google ADK for lead qualification, deal analysis, and workflow automation
Design agent tool interfaces that connect to major CRM integrations (CDK, Fortellis, etc.)
Build robust evaluation and testing frameworks to ensure agent reliability at scale
Optimize for latency, cost, and accuracy across agent interactions
Collaborate with product and engineering to identify high-value agent use cases
Stay current on ADK releases, Gemini model capabilities, and broader AI agent research
Qualification
Required
3+ years of software engineering experience; 1+ years working with LLM-based agents
Strong Python skills; experience with async patterns, API design, and production deployments
Deep hands-on experience with Google ADK (agent orchestration, tool use, memory, evaluation)
Production experience with Gemini models and Vertex AI
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, few-shot learning, and chain-of-thought reasoning
Experience implementing RAG pipelines (vector databases, embedding models, retrieval strategies)
Familiarity with agent evaluation frameworks and benchmarking methodologies
Working knowledge of alternative agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen) for comparison and best practices
Active use of AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, Claude) in your development workflow
Preferred
Experience with automotive tech, CRM systems, or sales automation
