Technical Support Specialist
Clutch is a growing payments and merchant-services company that helps local businesses simplify how they accept payments. The Technical Support Specialist will support the operations and leadership team by resolving technical issues, troubleshooting payment systems, and improving technical processes.

Responsibilities
Owning technical issues from first report to full resolution
Troubleshooting payment terminals, POS systems, gateways, and integrations
Supporting merchants with deposits, batching, connectivity, and processing errors
Coordinating with processors, gateways, and internal teams until issues are resolved
Documenting root causes and solutions to prevent repeat issues
Maintaining clean support logs, notes, and internal documentation
Improving systems, workflows, and technical processes
Qualification
Required
Able to translate technical issues into plain language for merchants
Willing to research, test, and verify solutions independently
Documents fixes so problems don't repeat
Performs well in fast-moving, high-expectation environments
You follow problems until the end
You are comfortable being the point person for technical ownership
You operate well with autonomy and responsibility
Preferred
Experience with payments, POS systems, terminals, or technical support is helpful—but not required
