Responsibilities
Security Obsession: Start with "Security First" mindset continuously thinking about attack vectors, threats & minimizing security risks in everything your team does
People Management: Lead, mentor, coach, and grow a diverse team of talented Security and software engineers delivering world-class security solutions in high-pressure situations
Business Leadership: Ability to start with the "Why", deeply understanding business strategy and needs, and translating them into technical & Security requirements and security controls for the DevSecOps team to deliver
Planning & Execution Excellence: Manage planning and execution—lead multi-quarter planning, resourcing, and cross-team dependencies to deliver on-time, high-quality deliverables
Operational Agility: Reduce toil and overhead across teams by creating clarity around policy, best practices for managing infrastructure and data, and simplifying compliance. Drive automation and centralized capabilities to close security gaps, streamline incident response, and scale best practices across regional operations and facilities

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
3+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices
1+ years people management experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Preferred
Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
4+ years people management experience
5+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining secure software systems, with applied knowledge of authentication, data protection, access control, and secure coding practices
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
Industry certifications such as CISM / CISSP / ISC or equivalent hands-on experience (5+ years) with Security Design and Risk management
Familiarity with hardware security modules(HSM)
