LHH is partnering with a trusted client to identify a high-caliber Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This role involves supporting month-end and year-end close processes, preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements, and leading audit-related activities.

Responsibilities

Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting

Assist in preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements and internal management reports

Perform analytical reviews and variance analysis to support business decision-making

Lead or support audit-related activities, including compiling schedules, documentation, and responding to requests from external auditors

Participate in tax-related work such as gathering supporting documentation, preparing schedules, and assisting with tax filings (as required)

Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and workflow efficiencies

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Support special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc analysis for leadership
